Our program aims to promote education and learning among the children and youth of Kathmandu, Nepal, particularly those from underprivileged and marginalized communities. We believe that education is a powerful tool that can help break the cycle of poverty and create a better future for children. ​


As a teaching volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with local teachers and staff to support and assist in daily classes, as well as plan and implement educational activities and games for the students. You will also have the chance to share your skills and knowledge with local teachers and students, fostering cross-cultural exchange and learning.


We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels, whether you are a trained teacher, a recent graduate, or simply have a passion for education and working with children. Join us and make a difference in the lives of the children in our community.

Nepal Teaching Volunteer Project As a Teaching Volunteer in Kathmandu, you can engage in a variety of activities aimed at improving the educational experience of students. Here are some examples: 

Teach English or other subjects: You can help students improve their English language skills or teach them other subjects such as math, science, social studies, or computer literacy.

Create lesson plans: Work with local teachers to create lesson plans and teaching materials that can be used to enhance the educational experience of students.

Conduct extracurricular activities: Organize extracurricular activities such as sports, art, music, dance, or drama to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience.

Tutor students: Provide individual or group tutoring to students who need extra help or attention.

Participate in teacher training: Work with local teachers to develop teaching skills, improve pedagogy, and implement new teaching strategies.

Help with administrative tasks: Assist school administrators with tasks such as record-keeping, data analysis, and report writing.

Engage with the community: Participate in community outreach programs to promote education and literacy in the surrounding areas. ​

1. Minimum age
The minimum age to apply for a volunteer project is 18 years.

2. Minor Participants (If you are below 18 years)
In case you are a minor and would like to create an impact on the global communities, we need to receive a "No Objection Certificate" signed by your parents. (Please send the NOC through an email after submitting the application form, in case you are a minor.)

3. Guarantee of Participation
Submitting an application form does not guarantee your selection and participation in the project.

4. The volunteers have to follow the code of conduct in the destination country and projects.

5. The local team is responsible for the management of pick-ups, housing, weekend excursions, safety, and well-being of the volunteers, we encourage the trust-building between the volunteers and the local management.

6. You will be working as a representative of your own country and we would highly appreciate it if you leave a very positive impact on the community you work with.

Very clean and organized with easy to follow tutorials Exercises and solutions. This course does start from the beginning with very little knowledge and gives a great overview of common tools used for data science and into more complex concepts and ideas.
