Welcome to our Childcare Volunteer Program in Kathmandu, Nepal. Our program aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children in day care centers and residential childcare centers. We are looking for international volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of these children. 


As a volunteer in our program, you will work with children of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities. You will help to provide them with basic education, extra-curricular activities, games, and emotional support. You will also assist with daily tasks such as feeding, bathing, and dressing the children, as well as helping with homework and other educational activities. ​


Our program also includes opportunities to get involved with community development projects, cultural exchange activities, and learning about the local customs and traditions. We aim to provide a meaningful and enriching experience for our volunteers, as well as making a positive impact on the lives of the children we serve.

As a volunteer in our Childcare Volunteer program in Kathmandu, Nepal, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities that help support the education and well-being of children in daycare centers and residential childcare centers. Some of the activities you may engage in as a volunteer include: 

Teaching: You will assist teachers in conducting basic educational classes, such as reading, writing, and arithmetic.

Extra-curricular activities: You will organize and conduct various extra-curricular activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, and music.

Games: You will organize and conduct games and play activities to help develop the social and emotional skills of the children.

Daily tasks: You will assist with the daily tasks of feeding, bathing, dressing, and providing emotional support to the children.

Homework help: You will provide homework help to children who need assistance with their school work.

Cultural exchange activities: You will have the opportunity to engage in cultural exchange activities, such as learning the local language and customs, as well as sharing your own culture with the children.

Community development projects: You will have the opportunity to get involved in community development projects that aim to improve the lives of local families and children.

1. Minimum age
The minimum age to apply for a volunteer project is 18 years.

2. Minor Participants (If you are below 18 years)
In case you are a minor and would like to create an impact on the global communities, we need to receive a "No Objection Certificate" signed by your parents. (Please send the NOC through an email after submitting the application form, in case you are a minor.)

3. Guarantee of Participation
Submitting an application form does not guarantee your selection and participation in the project.

4. The volunteers have to follow the code of conduct in the destination country and projects.

5. The local team is responsible for the management of pick-ups, housing, weekend excursions, safety, and well-being of the volunteers, we encourage the trust-building between the volunteers and the local management.

6. You will be working as a representative of your own country and we would highly appreciate it if you leave a very positive impact on the community you work with.
